The North Texas Kia Dealers are working to develop the careers of future technicians through local educational programs. The NTX Kia Dealers were proud to support two local high school teams, as they partnered with their local Kia Dealer to compete in the regional 2021 Auto Tech Competition. One team of three seniors from Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD’s Hollenstein Career & Technology Center trained at school and at Moritz Kia Alliance, while the second team of three seniors from Dallas ISD’s Wilmer-Hutchins High School trained at Southwest Kia Dallas. Both teams, along with 23 other regional teams, competed for a chance to win scholarships and tools as they move forward in their career in automotive technology. The 2021 Auto Tech Competition was held at Texas Motor Speedway’s Indy Garage. How to become a Kia certified technician? If you are an automotive technician or are on your pathway to becoming a technician, your next best step to becoming certified is to connect with a local dealership. Local dealerships provide a direct connection to the Kia University Training Program that will put your career on track while providing real-world experience in the dealership service center. Thank you to our North Texas Kia Dealers for you support in the 2021 Auto Tech Competition!
