Your North Texas Ford Dealers & the New Ford Tech program are working to develop the careers of future technicians through local educational programs.
Ford was proud to support North Texas schools in the competition as Terrell High School partnered with Platinum Ford, Mesquite ISDs Vanguard High School who was partnered with Town East Ford and, Weatherford High School who partnered with SouthWest Ford. Reaching into North and East Texas Hallsville High School was partnered with Pegues-Hurst Ford and, North Lamar ISDs North Lamar High School was paired with Paris Ford, as all the teams came to compete in the regional 2021 Auto Tech Competition.
Three seniors trained at school and at the local dealership in preparation to compete for a chance to win scholarships and tools as they move forward in their career in automotive technology. 25 teams across North Texas participated in this competition held at Texas Motor Speedway’s Indy Garage.
